Cheap Eats in Las Vegas
by admin ~ May 28th, 2025. Filed under: WSOP.A few days ago I discussed passing time in Vegas with activities that are completely free. Don't even think about that Bingo bonus during your free days because there is plenty of cheap entertainment to be found on the Strip. Read on for a list of budget-friendly ventures that will be a million times more fun than Bingo.
Everyone loves food, so you'll probably appreciate a couple tips for cheap food. If you love shrimp, check out the San Francisco Shrimp Bar & Deli's shrimp cocktail. You pay just $1.99 for shrimp with homemade sauce, lemon, and saltine crackers.
If you are looking for a filling meal, take a stroll to the Hard Rock Hotel. You can order steak and shrimp for just $7.77 at Mr. Lucky's all day! You get the works with this meal: a steak with 3 grilled shrimp, a salad, garlic mashed potatoes, and a roll. Keep in mind that you have to specifically request this meal since you won't find it anywhere on their menu.
If you want a place to blow your wad on drinks, get yourself to the Plaza. You can get well drinks there for just $2.50.
Once you have played a bunch of days in casinos for USA players, looking at some rare animals might help you wind down. It costs $15 to get into the Secret Garden and Dolphin habitat at the Mirage. You obviously get to see a bunch of dolphins, but lovers of wild cats are also in for a treat. There are panthers, leopards, lions, and rare white tigers.
If you also like sea creatures, your next stop should be the Mandalay Bay. Visit the Shark Reef to see over 1,200 different species including exotic fish and sharks. There is also a sea turtle that weighs over 300 pounds! The cost to get into the Shark Reef is $16.95.
For just $18.95, you can gain entry into the Spring Preserves to see gardens and various exhibits. There used to be 180 acres of natural springs in this area, but they dried up in 1962. There is a play area for kids, or you can go to Wolfgang Puck for dinner.
I am going to stop writing since this article is getting too long, but I have lots more attractions to describe for you. I'll write about more Vegas on a budget in the very near future. Until then, find a poker video to prepare for the WSOP and pray for some run good!
