You are probably wondering how ClubWPT is different from the typical online poker site. ClubWPT was created in 2025 and it is NOT considered a gambling site. This is because players pay a subscription cost to join a club that offers more than just card games. You can play poker, but there are no deposits and therefore no risks.

Software review:
The ClubWPT download is nice to look at and quite easy to operate. The lobby is very straightforward, offering tabs on the left side to switch from Poker to Blackjack with ease. For lobby options, you can click on Options in the upper left.
The Options tab also allows you to personalize your table and chat. You can turn off animation, turn on a four color deck, and pick and choose between your sounds. There are also plenty of backgrounds to choose from for your table. Perhaps you would like a Costa Rica Mountain House or even the Chicago Skyline behind your table. If you are prone to distractions, you can stick with a classy grey background.
When you are at the table, it is a pleasant gaming experience. The lack of avatars for each player makes it easy to see everyone’s stack size without making the table too cluttered. The pot size and the bets are also clearly labelled.
When it is your turn to act, you can choose to bet using a slider or you can enter your bet manually. I found it a little difficult to use the slider because clicking on it usually increased the bet amount by more than I wanted. Therefore, I stuck to typing in my bets.
The biggest thing that the ClubWPT tables lack is a timer so that you can see how much time you have in a hand. They notify you that you are running out of time once you have just six seconds remaining, which is not much warning at all! Until the site implements a visible timer, you will have to learn to act quickly.
Fans of multi-tabling will be pleased to know that the tables are very easily resizable. In fact, I found them even easier to re-size than some of the big-name poker sites out there. There are also options to cascade and tile the tables once you have a few of them up.
Overall the ClubWPT software is well done and easy to use. They lack a few of the fancy features that some of the big-name sites have such as customizable bet sliders and tournament filters, but that’s to be expected for a relatively new poker site. The important thing is that their games run smoothly and that their lobbies are easy to navigate. All the fancy stuff can come later!
