Intertops Poker Software and Download Review
Intertops: More Than 30 Years in Betting
Intertops has been a trusted source of betting services for more than three decades. It was in fact in operation before the internet even started as on offline bookie. From then until now, customers have known that they can rely upon Intertops’ honesty and penchant for paying out winnings without issue.
Even though ‘Tops is mostly focused on its sportsbook platform, it does have a very good poker room as the flagship site on the Horizon Poker Network. When you deposit to play cards, you’ll get a 200% up to $1,000 bonus through the use of the Intertops Poker bonus code 1000ITP. This bonus clears at some of the fastest rates we’ve ever seen for any poker bonus.
Even after you’re done with the bonus, there are plenty of other rewards awaiting your continued play at Intertops. A loyalty levels program delivers free cash on a regular basis while the gold coins you earn while playing can be exchanged for no deposit bonuses. Reloads are frequent, allowing you to recapture the solid value of the initial bonus multiple times.
Whenever you need a break from poker, you can check out the three casinos and the sportsbook, which have their own bonuses and promos for you to enjoy.

Intertops Software Overview
The Intertops poker software is functional and mostly error-free, but it’s not among the best poker clients out there. It has all the features you would expect to see, but it’s a bit basic in terms of additional frills. Still, there are a few interesting aspects to it.
The Intertops tables are laid out well with the players’ user names, stack sizes and avatars clearly visible. There’s a chatbox in the bottom-left that you can detach on to a separate window if you choose. A link to the top-left allows you to bring up the last hand in the replayer, Right-clicking on the table lets you change the color scheme and a few other graphical options. A button toward the top-right of the table brings you to a seat at the first available spot in another table of the same type.
You can open up the notes interface by right-clicking on a players’ nameplate. You can type in your observations on the players and color code them into categories for easier identification going forward.
The poker lobby at Intertops is your gateway to the games you seek. The three main types of poker (Ring Games, Tournaments, and Sit and Go) are listed on the left-hand side. The top selectors allow you to view games of a certain type or specific stakes. Clicking on any of the lobby columns will sort the games by that statistic. Two radio boxes at the bottom permit you to hide full or empty tables for ring games and running/completed events in the SNG and MTT lobby.
An advanced filter exists to enable more sophisticated browsing through the offerings. Here, you can include or exclude tables with a specified number of seats, establish minimum and maximum stakes, select the type of poker you’re interested in and more.
Opening up the “Options” window from the top lobby menu is how you customize your gaming experience. Auto-buyin and rebuy, chat settings and preferred seating let you set everything up in the way that’s most convenient for you. The “Themes” tab permits you to change the table background, card faces, card backs and even the carpet color. You can apply a different theme to each game type (Cash, SNG and MTT). It’s even possible to upload your own graphics!
Some of the more non-standard options contained in this window are the ability to change the sounds associated with each game event, force all table windows to open at the minimum dimensions and hide the pot size. Most of these elements are rarely used, but they exist should you feel the need to try them out.
You can get a well-organized summary of your Intertops Poker rewards by choosing “Rewards” —> “Summary” from the menu at the top of the lobby. The distinct tabs contain info about the various rewards possibilities at Intertops
Any active bonus you have on your account can be viewed in the “Pending Bonus” screen. You’ll see how much of it has already been paid to your real money balance and how much the total bonus value is. The number of FPPs you must earn to unlock the next piece of the bonus is displayed.
Other areas of the Rewards Summary tell you about your accumulation of the spendable gold coins that you get merely for playing, your position in the Loyalty Levels program and your Frequent Player Points total.
Intertops Poker Game Selection
Although traffic numbers at Intertops aren’t especially large, you’ll probably be able to find a few games at a time that will keep you happy. The quality of the opposition tends to be soft, so you have a good opportunity to make a profit.
No Limit Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha, and Pot Limit Omaha/8 stakes run from $0.02/$0.04 up to $10/$20. However, tables above the $0.50/$1.00 level tend to be deserted at most times of day. Usually, there are less than a dozen games actually going.
At Intertops, there are heads-up, six-max, eight-handed and nine-player ring games. The inclusion of tables that seat eight is a bit strange especially given the fairly low level of traffic at the room as a whole.
The other game types spread by Intertops are Limit Hold’em, Limit Omaha/8 and the obscure variant Telesina. However, there’s seldom even a single player waiting to play in these formats
Sit & Go
Sit & gos at Intertops range from $0.25 to $200 buyins. There’s the expected mix of hypers, turbos and normal-speed contests. Games are present for NLHE, LHE, PLO, and PLO/8. Double-or-nothings are present and are called DoubleUps here. Table sizes are 2, 3, 6 and 8 entrants. There’s also a small number of multitable (12 and 18 seater) SNGs.
Despite the wide array of game types and buyin levels, only NL Hold’em sit-n-goes with buyins of $10 or less really fire up with any regularity.
The tournament schedule has dozens of competitions each day with most of them costing $11 or less to join. The largest daily event is the Sundowner, a $50 + $5 MTT that guarantees between $1,200 and $1,500 depending on the day of the week. On Sundays, the Sundowner entry cost drops to $20 + $2 while the prize pool increases to $4,500.
There really aren’t any tournament series at Intertops, but every once in a while, the room holds step qualifiers to major offline poker occasions. Participation in these promos is light, so you stand a good chance of walking away with an inexpensive poker vacation.
Intertops Mobile Poker
Though it’s not really optimized especially for mobile, Intertops does provide an Instant Play poker room that you can log into from the website. It runs on just about every modern web browser, including those on phones and tablets.
The entire spectrum of games and tables isn’t supported on Instant Play. Most notably, cash games with nine seats and all non-Hold’em tournaments seem to be absent. Therefore, it’s best to consider Instant Play an extra feature of Intertops rather than its main poker product.
There are four principal ways for USA customers to request a withdrawal from Intertops:
- Bitcoin: $100 – $2,500
- Check: $150 – $3,000
- Bank Wire: $150 – $2,500
- Money Global (Money Transfer): $185 – $450
We counsel our readers to ask that their winnings be paid through Bitcoin. There aren’t any fees for BTC cashouts at Intertops, but other methods of payment incur additional surcharges, and they generally tend to take longer to process too.
ROTW players have other payment channels available, including Skrill, Neteller and SEPA bank transfer.

Intertops Extra Features
Weekly FPP Race
Every week, there’s an FPP race that awards a cool $4,000 to the winners. The leaderboard pays out the top 100 places, so you stand a reasonable chance of collecting a prize even if you’re not the highest-volume grinder on the planet. All FPP race prizes are credited within four days of the end of the week. There’s no rollover or playthrough attached to this cash!
No Deposit Bonuses
You’ll collect Gold Chips as you put in the time at the tables. Once you have enough of them, you can trade them in for no deposit bonuses that must be cleared just like the welcome bonus. You can get a $5 bonus for 20 chips, a $25 one for 100 chips and $100 for free by exchanging 400 GCs. To request these bonuses, you must send an email to [email protected]
Live Event Satellites
Several times per year, Intertops offers players the chance to win a relaxing poker getaway to exciting locations around the world, including Velden, Austria, Las Vegas and Barcelona, Spain. Win your way up from the step satellites or buy into the final directly to maximize your chances of earning your package! These prizes typically include the buyin to a live MTT, accommodations and some money for travel expenses.
After you’ve finished collecting your initial deposit bonus at Intertops, you can look forward to periodic reload bonuses. They usually appear once every month or two. Just like the first deposit bonus, you’re typically required to enter in a bonus code before the reload money will be applied to your pending bonuses. Don’t delay though – these redeposit deals are temporary.
Be sure to bookmark the Intertops Poker Facebook page because it’s the forum for all kinds of announcements about the company and its promotions. From time to time, there are contests that are only open to the Facebook fans of Intertops. They usually involve free tournament tickets being given away to the winners. There’s no cost to enter these contests!
The Intertops support team is ready to answer your questions. You can contact them via toll-free telephone, email ([email protected]) or website Live Chat. If your query is related to payments, then there’s a dedicated email address you can send to ([email protected]). What a relief to find an operator that actually cares about getting you your money in a timely way.
There’s a casino inside the Intertops Poker client, but there are also another two that are separate. Each of them incorporates games from different software vendors, so there’s little duplication between them. The roster of titles easily surpasses 700, and you can obtain distinct bonuses to use in each of the three casinos.
The sportsbook is the bread and butter of Intertops. Coverage of American and worldwide sports is excellent, and there’s even a Live section so that you can put down action even after the big game starts. The Intertops sportsbook welcomes new members with a bonus of up to $200 ($1,000 if you use Bitcoin). Other promotions revolve around parlays and feature extra payments given to successful bettors.
